Guy Behnd ‘Omar Suleiman Still a Celebrity

The pace of events is such that mid-February seems an eon ago, so you may not have been thinking much lately about the guy behind ‘Omar Suleiman, the Facebook sensation of a few weeks back. His 15 minutes of fame apparently has not faded completely, since this recent al-Sharq al-Awsat report says when young Egyptians recognized the man in question, Lt. Col. Hussein Sharif, in Heliopolis, he joked with them and posed for pictures as well.

I'm glad he's a good sport.
